Delete Your Account & Data

Option 1: Delete from within the app

If you have the Robo Reader app installed, you can delete your account directly:

1. Open Robo Reader on your device
2. Go to Settings (gear icon)
3. Tap Profile
4. Tap Delete Account
5. Review the permanent data-loss warning shown in the app
6. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Before the final confirmation, the app warns you that deletion is permanent. If a paid subscription is active, Robo Reader first requests the required subscription cancellation. Account data is deleted only after that step succeeds, so a failed cancellation cannot silently leave an unmanageable paid subscription. Successful account deletion immediately ends access to the account and its Premium entitlement.

Option 2: Request deletion via email

If you no longer have access to the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us at:

support@robo-reader.com

Please include the email address associated with your Robo Reader account. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 5 business days.

What data is deleted?

When deletion is processed, the following active account and cloud data is removed from Robo Reader systems:

• User profile — name, email, preferences, and account settings
• Synced books & articles — cloud copies stored for your account
• Highlights & bookmarks — all saved annotations
• Reading progress & statistics — goals, streaks, and history
• Cloud storage files — all files stored in Firebase Storage
• Authentication record — your Firebase Auth account
• Subscription data — Robo Reader entitlement and subscription status linked to your account (Paddle may retain transaction records under its independent legal obligations)

Data retention

Once deletion is processed, Robo Reader removes your active account and cloud data. Deleted Firebase Storage files may remain in provider soft-delete or backup systems for up to seven days before irreversible removal. Limited records may remain where required for transaction, security, dispute, or legal obligations, including:

• Payment transaction records held by Paddle as required by applicable tax, financial, fraud-prevention, and consumer-protection obligations
• Anonymized, aggregated analytics data that cannot be used to identify you

Cancellation is different

Ordinary subscription cancellation prevents future renewal and normally leaves Premium available until the paid period ends. Account deletion is a separate, permanent request that removes the account after required subscription handling succeeds. Deletion does not automatically create a refund for unused time. Review our Refund Policy before deleting your account.
